Loose Threads Quilt Guild was started in 2002 by a group of quilting friends who realized the need for Jewish quilters to get together in a guild setting. Our mandate is to encourage quilting by learning and sharing, and to support Jewish charitable endeavours. Membership is open to anyone, regardless of religious affiliation, who is a quilter.

Brrrrrr....................hope everyone is staying warm.
Yesterday several of our members participated in a workshop led by Isabel Bernier on how to make a drawstring bag. It was a wonderful day - I think everyone managed to make 2 bags! Isabel was a great instructor, and had a couple of surprises for us, which was an added treat. She brought gifts and Valentine loot bags - thanks, Isabel, for a fun day. Looking forward to Show& Tell.
Here is a photo of the day:

ReplyDeleteIs it tough to set up your own blog? I'm not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty quick. I'm thinking about setting up my own but I'm not sure where to begin. Do you have any tips or suggestions? Thanks
